The Journal of Independent Studies and Research (JISR) is Pakistan's first online refereed journal with the objective of promoting research activities in Pakistan. Published by SZABIST, a renowned Institute of Science and Technology ranked among the best in Asia by AsiaWeek and BusinessWeek, JISR is dedicated to the dissemination of research among institutions, universities, researchers, and students.

The users of this e-journal can view and download research articles posted by the members. They can also post their own research articles subject to satisfactory technical review by referees and acceptance by the Editorial Board.
