Damage AssessmentEdit

Chronological order:

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Wednesday said the unprecedented floods have caused losses worth $43 billion to the country.
Addressing the federal cabinet, the prime minister said around 1,000 bridges and 4,000 km of roads were damaged by the water.
He added that Wapda and Pepco alone have suffered losses of Rs13 billion due to the natural catastrophe which has also left 20 million people dependant on the government for help.

  • Life saving drugs.
  • Vaccines for malaria, cholera, typhoid, influenza.

Techure Foundation is working on ground in partnership with IMPossible (National University of Science Technology, Islamabad - TIC) to help the flood victims in flood affected areas. Techure Foundation work through network of individuals, groups and organizations to mobilize its relief activities in addition to providing on-ground support through its own volunteers and coordinators.


With masses fighting for life and 20 children may have already died within this minute as you surf though - it is not easy to help alone, but together we can and together we should do!
