KRDF is Working to rebuild shattered lives. KRDF has launched a massive programme of rebuilding schools and establishing vocational training centers in earthquake hit areas of Kashmir. One school in Rawalakot and one in Muzaffarabad have already started working. KRDF also have also established 9 training centers so far. Contact KRDF on info@krdf.net for further details.

  • Kashmir International Relief Fund (http://www.kirf.org): Working in Kashmir since 1992. One current project is to build shelters for 1500 families in villages surrounding Bagh - approximately 10,000 people rehoused before the winter. Contact the Bagh field programme manager at bagh@kirf.org.
  • International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies
  • UNICEF is also on the ground - just click on their South Asia appeal page
  • Islamic Relief is distributing aid in Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Rawalakot and villages in Pakistan-administered Kashmir
  • Mercy Universalis an International Humanitarian Organisation working in Indian Occupied Kashmir distributing aid, medical assistance, shelter.
